Trampolines

Trampolines are elevated or raised buoyant beds or canvas sheets supported by springs or elastic shock cords surrounded by a frame and used as a springboard for jumping or tumbling.

Trampoline exercises increase blood circulation and can strengthen the skeletal system and increase bone density preventing or reducing the effects of conditions like oestoporosis. Trampoline exercises can strengthen joints, tendons and ligaments reducing the chances of suffering from certain types of arthritis.

Trampolines can also help the body’s natural detoxification mechanism – the lymphatic system – which relies on our body movement as a pump to help get rid of body toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. The action of rebounding on a trampoline causes lymphatic valves to open and close simultaneously increasing lymph flow.

Frequent rebounding on trampolines can also assist in getting rid of varicose veins and cellulite.
